this is entirely derek des anges' fault

that life burns fast, ends bright and still.

some paw at meanings without grace or skill,

claimed by those who then deny they meant me ill.

blurs and inconsistencies defended with a shrill

there is no beyond that which permeates throughout
the so-called mortal coil to define humankind's will.
